Basics for a Twitter Chat

Have you ever wondered how to rock a Twitter chat? If so, now is your chance to learn a few basic tips and tricks to make it happen! The Art of Social Media is a great resource to dive in even deeper into the Twitter chat world. Here are my favorites!

-Include the chat’s hashtag in EVERY tweet.
            Make it short and unique. 
-Prepare your guests.
            Resist temptation to overly promote an agenda.
-Stay question and answer driven.
            Answering as many questions as possible is critical for the success of a Twitter chat.
-Type Fast.
            Speed is everything in a Twitter chat.

Like many of you, I have been soaking in the sun and enjoying this great spring weather we have been having recently in Ohio. Coming from a small town, country background one of my favorite things to do is ride four-wheelers when the weather is nice. Spring Has Sprung!

I don’t know about you, but I am absolutely LOVING this spring weather! I enjoy being able to open the window in my dorm to let in fresh air, go for walks around the green monster and of course being able to wear all my spring clothes that have been in the back of my closet for too long. Well the time is here! I decided I would share one of my favorite things to wear during the spring! Birkenstocks! Yes, I know they aren’t the most attractive pair of shoes, but they are actually VERY comfortable. Also, Birkenstock will repair your shoes if something is to happen to your beloved Birks or you have simply just worn-out certain parts of them. They are close to $100, but I think you can justify that price when you see all the great features and benefits that come with them. Vera Bradley Annual Outlet Sale

Last Thursday I honestly thought I had died and gone to heaven. Not really, but I was on very overjoyed and excited! I went to the annual Vera Bradley outlet sale in Fort Wayne,Indiana with my mom. For those of you that don’t know the Vera Bradley sale is held each year with large amounts of their products on sale. My mom had gone for the past several years and I was always so jealous and wanted to go but I couldn’t miss school because of softball. However, this year was finally my turn to go and experience the craze I had heard so much about. We arrived for our 11 a.m. session at 9:30 a.m. We wanted to make sure we had a decent spot in line to avoid a lot of the madness that was going to follow behind. Also by arriving early we could beat a lot of the long lines at checkout. While waiting in line Vera Bradley had various staff members encouraging us to use their hashtag and post pictures.
